      Works for me! – I bought these with the hopes of being able to modify them to fit my exhaust. I’m using them on a 2019 KTM 300XC with an Enduro Engineering spark arrestor cap. The spark arrestor screen is very close to the exhaust tip, shortening the plug was the only way it fit. After modifying to fit my setup, it creates a perfectly watertight seal. I did find that the plug is flexible enough to be pushed beyond what is necessary. I feel the material of the plug will eventually deteriorate and break off, if forced passed what is necessary, no longer making it watertight. Not a huge problem because the Enduro Engineering caps are easily removed and I have a spare.
