Good unit, not right for my car application – I liked the idea of a switch like this USB charging plug has, but what I didn’t realize is that it shuts off every time it loses power. I got this for my car and it just isn’t practical to have to find the tiny switch and turn it on each and every time I want to charge my phone.

Charging power is great just didn’t fit quit like it should have. – I put this in my 2016 jeep compass. I had to Dremel out my existing car lighter hole a lite bigger for it to fit and I couldn’t fit the locking ring on the other side because of other plug harnesses next to it. It was a tight enough fit to where I didnt have to use the locking ring.
