Good charger/maintainer – I have been using a full size battery charger to get my kids power wheel vehicle batteries charged up. It was quite large to keep out on the work bench, and the only way to turn it off was to pull the plug out of the wall.

Small and compact – I like that it’s lightweight and small so it’s easy to carry around and small enough to fit in the glove compartment. I have a larger charger that’s hard to balance due to its weight and size and then I have a trickle charger on my Harley. This Foval charger is nice because of its size and is powerful. You never think about it until it’s too late. Recently my wife traveled out west and I never thought about starting her vehicle while she was gone. It was only for 3.5 weeks and the moment she needed to go somewhere the battery was dead. So by the time I was able to give her a jump it was too late and had to miss her appointment. I didn’t think that the battery would go dead in that amount of time. So I’m glad I have this charger around and hopefully never run into that situation again. Plus, this is very cheap in price.

So far so good – The first couple times I used this charger I wanted to be nearby in case something went south. I let it cook a couple larger truck batteries at work over a couple days and am happy with it. It comes with standard SAE connectors that you can hardwire to your battery to make hooking up to trickle charge a 2 second job. Its easy to use, puts out proper voltage/amps and I think Im confident enough in it to leave it hooked up to one of my vehicles overnight and not worry about it too much.

I got it to use when all the dome lights in my truck get left on, and I need to get my battery going again. It was super simple to use. It has a maintainer plug, with a very easy to replace fuse, and a charging plug with post clamps. They’re easy to interchange by unplugging and plugging.

They have never failed us, even when left for as long as 6 months. Most of the Foval chargers available lately have been only 1A chargers, which I fear may be too small. This 2A version is perfect to me.
