I like the look – Easy installation, makes the bike look a little gangster. It did cut my fingers up a little bit screwing on the grill but overall I like it.

Worth the hassle – With a price like this, you can’t go wrong. First thing out of the box, it’s heavy, and sharp! They do not mess around in that factory. Because I have an LED headlight, the install was pretty difficult. You just need to twist with one hand and hold the back with the other, the trick is not slicing your fingers open when pushing on the grill. After vet glue and a bandaid, I rode off! It looked great, until I noticed the headlight was slowly but surely rotating around (Harleys DO vibrate). After getting some velcro, it’s snug as can be. For a universal, affordable grill, this takes the cake! Looks absolutely amazing on my newer LED headlight.

Will fit HD 2016 Iron 883 w stock headlight housing (5 3/4″ light) with MINOR/EASY modification – Looks dope on bike and is of solid material! A little bit of creativity is required for installation. You do not need to remove or loosen the gas tank since the headlight bucket housing is somewhat conical it is easy to finagle the ring around the housing without messing with the tank and wiring harness etc… I ended up wrapping the outer edge of the bucket with electrical tape to create a bead-like lip(similar to a tape job on a hockey stick). It fits very very well/tight and does not have any play or unwanted movement. Wear gloves, it is RAZOR SHARP!!! I sliced my hand open just trying to spin the grill on the first go around! An extra set of hands will definitely be of help. All in all I would buy it again as well as recommend it, you just gotta think outside the box.

NICE! – This headlight cover looks sweet on my blacked out Harley Sportster 48. It was super simple to install; simply removed the old chrome ring that fastened at the bottom of the headlight, then maneuvered the black base ring over the headlight housing, then screwed the black grill cover on tight. It seems very durable and sturdy, hope it holds up over time with the signature Harley vibrations and rumbles 🙂

Bad look, good price – I really like the look of these headlight grilles on motorcycles. I saw the price and said why not! It more more difficult for me to take off my little fairing and put back on than it was to install this grille. Had a few set backs but I made it work. First, the two piece grille has some sharp spots so be careful. I sliced my finger on it but just wear gloves if you have soft hands. Second, fully tightened mine was a tad loose as well as the headlight so I took it off and wrapped a little electrical tape around the light housing and that plowed the grille to tighten well and is now solid with no movement. I have a 2021 iron 1200 and I managed to use this and still keep the fairing installed. See the picture. It was a tight fit though so do it at your own risk. Only time will tell is the added pressure on the mounting points will hold up. Overall this is a good item at a good price and it looks well.
