bumpy rides and the phone drops – the clamping screw for device is not good. when on bumpy roads, phone drops. so i would be very careful with this one. only bought it cause it’s the only green one i could find, but now i know it’s not worth it. i would look else where for phone mount, especially if you value your phone.

Great mount – My wife got a new e-bike and for a while we were sharing it. I put this mount on so we could take our iPhones with us when we rode. The mount comes with several rubber holders. You stretch the four corners of the holders around the four corners of your phone. I have a larger phone than my wife so I put both the largest and smallest holders on the mount. So when she rode the bike it would hold her iPhone 12 mini and when I rode the bike it wold hold my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Finally, a strong clamp for a phone holder – I’ve had several different phone holders for various bikes, watercraft and I think I finally found one that will not slip. The clamp is a claw-like device which easily locked onto the frame of my bike and didn’t move. The phone holder itself expands to hold a larger phone (using this with an S22) with an easy push button that when the phone pushes against it locks the clamps into place. A word of caution, I had a case that had a stand built into it that broke so the stand part was broken off. This resulted in my case having an inset where the button was so my case didn’t push properly on the close switch. Not a fault of the holder, but my phone but beware of this.

Holds the phone securely – I installed this on a Trek hybrid bike. The handle bars vary in diameter and this mount was able to adjust to that easily due to the talon style grip. There are two fingers that go over the front and one that comes from behind to make three points of contact on the bar that adjusts to changing diameter and bends. My only concern is the double ended screw mechanism which did not look like stainless. Worried it might rust over time.

Locking mechanism broke after 4 uses. – Pulled this holder out of the box. Extended the arms, popped my phone in 3 times to check out the snap lock action, turned to show my brother how it works and the arm lock never worked again. Absolute junk, but a cool idea.
