Really nice little charger/tender – This is a very nice little battery charger/tender. As with other ones it comes with the connections that you need to connect to your battery but it also comes with alligator clamps for standard connection and charging. It smart senses what kind of battery and goes to work charging or tending. I was also very pleasantly surprised to find that it works for some lithium batteries.

Simple and easy – There’s not much to this charger but that’s because not much is needed. All the “brains” of the smart charger are right in the A/C plug. Then you have 2 options for how to hook up your battery. Either the clamps or the rings you can put right on the terminals of a battery. If you choose to hook up with the battery ring terminals, there is a 3A fuse built into the line. I’m not sure why there’s no fuse for the alligator clamps but the smart charger must take care of this.

Nice to have a lithium charger for Lifepo4s – might be a little slow – This charger worked great to bring some small LifePo4 batteries I have up to ~14v charge. The problem I’ve encountered is that I’m not sure it’s actually putting out 1.5 amps, my small 6ah Lifepo4 seemed to take about 8 hours to charge. Regardless, it does the job and gets the battery up to it’s needed state of charge. It works very similarly to the Noco-type chargers – plug it in, change the setting before connecting the battery, and connect. Despite my thoughts about the amperage, I’m very happy with the overall kit and included leads, it’s a great small charger option, everything feels like decent quality and not too thin wires or plastic.
