Has Potential… – I bought a 2004 BMW R1150R last summer that has a rather uncomfortable aftermarket gel seat. Sargent and Corbin saddles for this bike run upwards of $700, and they’re no guarantee in fixing the problem. The seat pads I researched, like the Airhawk et al, got decent reviews, but I wasn’t crazy about the design: pumping air into the seat. I wasn’t sure about the gel seats, either. Most of them got mixed reviews and were more than I wanted to pay. Then I came across this seat pad. It’s inexpensive and not as gimmicky as something like the Airhawk. And it didn’t seem like it would negatively affect my seating position/center of gravity like some of the gel seats, and air seats, seemed to do (according to reviews).
