Works great and secure – I was twisting and twisting trying to loosen them up to fit over the ball. Then it dawned on me I needed to use the supplied wrench to adjust them. The outer knob just spins. It should be very secure on the scooter. I’d recommend it.

Ended up buying the one with the permanent turn crank. – This item is well built and works perfectly but whenever I needed to adjust it, I had to dig out the handle, and then I would sometimes drop it while adjusting. It gets tricky to hold onto and turn. Also it has to be stored on the bike for those times when it needs to be adjusted like when changing a tire (turning bike upside down). Besides that, I never walk away from my bike and leave the phone on it. It sounded like a great idea when I purchased it, but became a big hassle for me after using it for a while.
