I bought a different mount for it. – I bought a different mount for this to make it a perch mount on throttle side. This gave me more rotational range and allows me to video as we are riding. This thing is awesome sauce. I don’t know why I didn’t buy one before. My current setup allows me to charge my phone whether or not the bike is running. I absolutely love it.

Not compatible with most phone cases – Bought this expecting to get a decent mount. While it is built sturdy and feels very solid, it’s not compatible with my phone’s case. Try it on multiple different phones as well, all with different types of cases to try and avoid returning it. Absolutely none of them were held properly by the mount. I didn’t bother installing it because of this, but it does look and feel like a good mount. Just wish that the description would warn of potentially not working with cases.

Another disappointing design from Asia – I was very excited to receive this and install. I checked it and it works fine. But the poor design as a charger beyond the use of the magnetic phase makes it singular and useless. There are two additional ports, BUT both are to be used as another system to charge your phone magnetically. Just plain DUMB. INSTEAD, at least one of the ports should have been capable of charging anther device; say like a Portable battery to carry along on a hike with your phone. I can’t stand limited, useless design of single use products. It’s 2023. Let’s get with the program already. Update this thing.

Works well for smaller phones – I have a galaxy S22 and it fits in the cradle but doesn’t line up with the wireless charging pad so no charging for me. The only other complaint I have is the procedure to open and close the clamp can take a few seconds. Some kind of quick release would be nice. The plus is I have wind hitting my phone at 100+mph and it doesn’t move. If you have a smaller to medium size phone this will probably work ok for you as long as you don’t need a quick in quick out mechanism.
