Does not fit 2001 KLR650 housing. Too long. – Too long by about 2mm. Couldn’t get the light to sit far enough in to secure the clip, even if I did, the front of it would be pressed against the inside of the headlight lens. Tested before fitting and it’s super bright. Everything else seemed to be lining up correctly. Seems to have good build quality though.

I read another review which states “you’ll need to open up the headlight hole a little” so i took a chance…10 minutes later, slowly working a dremel tool and i have success. should be bright enough for my needs and less expensive than the $300 desert light option, more reliable than a filament bulb shaking around on a mountain trail.
