Stays on – I’m not sure qbout weather resistant. I made sure to unplug the phone while in rain, but! It kept and charged my galaxy fold while riding. This is what I needed. It is also a quick clip on for removal when staying on the road or even for removing. I wish they gave me two battery leads so I could use on both bikes

Too early to say how good or bad it is – I don’t expect it to be rainproof. That said, even the motorcyle is not fully rainproof. As long as it charges the phone nicely and fast enough, I will say this is a great product. I used a velcro tape instead of the supplied adhesive tape to mount the charger to the handbar. That way it is nice and snug and free from adhesive glue mess. I mounted it on the right side handlebar after realizing the charger screw knob comes into contact with the tank and will scratch it. It is much safer mounted on the right side. The wire is comfortably long to reach the battery and the fuse is a plus. The rubber cover is great way to protect the USB A and C slots from dust and road debris. Only downside (if at all) is that someone can drain you battery by just turning on the on-off power switch and charging his phone.
