      Returned this because I thought the wiring looked cheaper than I wanted on my bike – Returned because it had an overall cheaper look and feel than I wanted connected to my battery. Just didn’t think I could trust it to last very long. Bought a similar Battery Tender brand instead. You can use your own judgement of course but I didn’t see a need for both a long wiring harness to the battery and a long standard charging cord to a phone. Just seemed like too much wiring to have to run under the bank to the handlebars.

      Every bike needs this – If you already have a trickle charger pigtail connected to your battery, this will plug right into it. If you don’t, the wires needed are included in this kit.

      Nice to have USB on the bike. – This USB adapter works good but I don’t keep it attached all the time. My Heritage Softtail already had the power cord so I didn’t need the included cable. The included cable is long enough though to run this charger to just about anywhere you want to put it. The only complaint I have is that it is slightly large and the reason I don’t leave it connected all the time.

      This is what I was missing on my motorcycle! Get one now if you have a bike! –  This is exactly what I needed for my motorcycle. We all have all sorts of mobile devices on us. When I ride, I have a phone, a tablet, and a few other devices in my backpack. Heck, I have a GPS installed on my bike’s handlebar that’s battery powered and I have to recharge it before every ride and sometimes I forget to. The point is that we need power, and my bike has it and I want to be able to tap into it wherever I go and whenever I need it. This little handy device delivers just that – it adds two USB 5 V charging ports to your bike converting the 12 V bike’s battery output into 5 V USB-A. The kit comes with a mounting kit for a handlebar and with a bracket to mount to any surface (like side fairing). The power adapter itself can be turned off to conserve power and when it’s on it also shows the current voltage which is very handy to monitor your battery condition. End-to-end, it’s an awesome addition to your bike that will help you many many times down the road, if you don’t have it yet you should get and install one asap!
