Nice addition for longer rides – I got this charger for the longer rides when I am streaming music and using my phone as a GPS. The kit really does come with everything you need.

Motorcycle USB Type A & C Charger From 12 Volt SAE – I have a motorcycle that doesn’t have a USB port. This is a great solution. Its a Kawasaki KLR 650 “Thumper” and even with handlebar end dampers and rubber mount clamp dampers, there’s quite a bit of vibration at certain RPMs transmitted to the handlebars. That makes the handlebars a poor place to mount any kind of electronics, including this and a holder for my phone. I do have a SAE lead on the battery that is normally used for battery charging, and with this requiring a SAE battery connection, its perfect! However, my plan is to use a short USB A to C cable and plug the USB charger into the bike’s SAE connector, placing the USB charger and my phone in my motorcycle flapped pocket. This will be perfect to reduce vibration and minimize dirt/water from getting to the charger and my phone.

Nice fast charger and great way to connect it to the bike. Everything one needs is included. – Having a USB charger for your bike that plugs into an SAE cable is a great idea. This package comes with everything you could possibly need and then some. Besides the charger itself, the kit includes a fused SAE battery cable, an extension cable, zip ties, a handlebar mount and a stick-on mount. All the components are good quality.

Love This Little Gadget – Glad I Found It! – I’d installed a combination voltage display and USB port on my sport bike binnacle so I could keep track of the battery status and plug in either my cell phone or a GPS. But on my V Star cruiser, there was a really good place to mount something like that remaining on my handlebar anywhere.
