Golf tire repair – This kit is wonderful. My golf tire actually cracked about 1/4 ” because of age. I thought I was going to have the whole tire replaced, but to my amazement this kit fixed the complete crack in minutes. I followed the directions pulled out a strip of plug material, inserted it into the tool, added some cement, pushed the plug in to the split, cut off the excess plug and inflated the tire, and to my amazement the tire expanded to the correct size and poundage, now I’m off and running. Would highly recommended

Size matters – Great kit, I would recommend a small change. The “reamer/probe” is large in diameter and hard to use in small nail/screw punctures in a tire. Either a smaller diameter reamer and addition of a 3oz bottle of oil would be amazing. Maybe consider bowtie plugs instead of cord plugs, as well. Maybe a little liquid soap to find leak and confirm its sealed after plugging holes, but other wise good kit especially for home like lawnmower tires or roadside kit. The tools are sturdy, durable.

Good kit – better tools – A very good tire repair kit, for emergencies or the mechanically inclined. Has everything you need (and a few things you just don’t). There is room in the kit to add a few items, I included thicker plugs for more serious punctures. The most important tools are the reamer and plug tool, which historically have been poor quality in the consumer market. Both tools are well made and will stand up to real world long term use.
