Good fit and function at a reasonable price. – This fits my 11 year old well with room to grow (he is a little on the small size for his age). So far we have not noticed any problems with quality. I purchased it because it looked like just as good of protection as some of the other brands out there but at a lower cost. So far we do not have any disappointments in this product and it appears that it will offer good protection. Hopefully he does not crash but if he does I will be sure to update this review with how it performed.

Nice Protective Vest – We got one for each of our boys (4 and 6) to wear while snowmobiling. They wore them over their coats as that was more comfortable for them, but they could be worm under as well. They provide an extra layer of protection and also keep them a bit warmer.

Works Well for 8 Year Old Girl – I purchased the medium size for my daughter who is just south of 4 feet tall and it fits well, but also leaves some room for her to grow since it’s adjustable. My only complaint is that some of the stitching on the front armor has come out and we’ll need to re-sow it, so it doesn’t come off. It might just be an anomaly, but worth noting for others. However, for the money, I’d still buy it again, cuz it seems like an easy fix.

Beginner – This vest perfect for the little beginner. It doesn’t have the upmost protection but will def suffice for the 1st season of riding. It will get the little one ready for riding. We purchased additional arm, elbow and arm padding to go with the vest. They grow out of these so quickly but next year an upgrade will definitely be required
