Handy phone holder with quick grip & release – This bike phone holder looks like the right type to grip onto handle bar, instead of a simple clamp. I always worry those will just fall off and my phone will be a goner while riding. This definitely feels like a more permanent and secure solution. Below are the highlights:

Securely holds iPhone with case – This is a surprisingly well-designed bicycle phone holder. I love how easily you can open the holder to accept the cell phone, gently push the phone against the back and the four arms retract and securely hold all four corners. I like how the arms overlap the cell phone’s corners. This prevents the phone from pitching forward. My phone also has its silicone case on it and the holder easily works with that. I think even thicker more aggressive cases would probably work.

Good Phone Mount – Great Price – The phone mount comes almost completely assembled. Just install the mount to the bar clamp and that’s it. If your phone is a little loose in the mount, add the soft spacer. It is made of plastic, therefore it is a little flimsy. But overall, it’s easy to install and a breeze to mount the phone. Just about any size phone will fit. i.e. iPhone X, 13 Pro Max, 14 Pro, etc.

My handlebars are tapered from the neck to the grips so it’s very hard to find anything that will mount to them without spinning. This mounts securely even on that surface thanks to a rubber spacer that goes around the bar first.

I’m not good at precision, so mine looks a little hooptie… That being said, its a snap to use. When getting ready to write a review, I noticed the video the seller provided.. and they addressed my material reservations specifically. If you haven’t watched it yet, the guy tries to smash the heck out of it with a hammer, and it stays in one piece. So, I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt… functionally, it works great, and snapping my phone in place beats screwing it down like other devices I’ve used. I definitely feel like I can rely on it to carry my expensive phone, at least for the foreseeable future.
