      For the application on my Moto Guzzi this is the only way to go. – On my Moto Guzzi the oil filter its in a recessed gavity in the bottom of the oil pan and you can’t fit any tool into the space around it to lossen a normal oil filter. The 17mm lug on the end makes it a no brainer. The quality constrcution and K&N’s reputation for solid well made products makes it an even easier choice.

      I like the ‘Nut’ on the Top – Whoever put the last oil filter on my 883 Sportster should be shot considering that I had to use the largest pair of Channel Locks made with a Crescent Wrench cheater to get it off. Fortunately there was no collateral damage to the other nearby expensive devices on the bike. K&N builds a quality product and having the install / remove ‘nut’ cast right into the top of the cap is just well thought out. Thank you for your intelligent design.
