Caution! Right Mirror has Reversed Threads on Rebel CMX500! – Installed the Kuryakyn #1764 (Black Stem & Chrome Mirror) on my Rebel cmx500. The pack w/Two Black Replacement Adaptors & the pack w/Four Allen Head Adaptors can be pitched (won’t fit)! The 3-pack of chromed step-down bolts is the correct package and one of the 3 bolts is reversed threads and needs to be installed on the right side of the bike (right side when sitting on the bike). The other 2 bolts are regular (righty-tighty threads). The right mirror removal is a clock-wise rotation of the upper nut and the mirror itself to loosen and remove. I transferred my black rubber covers from the old mirrors (before installing), to hide the chrome stems (which made tightening the nuts a little more challenging) but the covers hide the chrome well. I took the right side mirror off first, removed the nut from the mirror stem, and used the nut to find the correct reversed-threaded stem in the package! (that way I’m not guessing & stripping out the threads on the bike! The mirrors give me a wider, rock steady view (no shake)! I worried I’d hear a whistle between the ulna and radius bones at higher speeds but didn’t! Very Happy!

Kuryakyn 1759 Skeleton Hand Mirror with Black Head and Chrome Stem – I love the look of these mirrors on my bike. As far as functionality goes they get the job done satisfactorily, yet they may have slightly less viewing area and be a bit less resistant to vibrations than stock mirrors.

Great for my 2016 Street Glide – I bought the all black. I’ve seen reviews on the others and for some reason a lot of bad reviews. This one is great. They’re heavy and sturdy. No cheap hollow plastic. They went on incredibly easy and come with a good amount of additional hardware in the car you have a different model motorcycle etc. instructions are detailed. I plan on painting the bones to match the color of my bike which is why I went with the all black.

Fit a 1996 FLHRI – Easy to install and fit like a glove, unlike some of the cheaper brands!

Love the design BUT – Nice design, I had the exact same pair and have a skull theme going on on my bike so I had to buy these again BECAUSE they do rust quicker than I expected. And for the money they want for them,Kinda wishing I would’ve tried one of the knock off brands. What’s 20 something buck’s to try out the same style. They’d probably last longer rust wise lol. I’d recommend IF they weren’t trying to jack up their prices on all the products.. “Seems” like they believe they’re the Cadillac/Bentley of Motorcycle accessories-parts. Not in my experience.

Genuine Kuryakyn Product – When I got my first bike I fell for the design of these mirrors, the thing was that I bought the Chinese knock offs. Dreadful! just out of my inexperience at installing them, it took me about a month to set’em properly, still didn’t work and completely screwed the original threads on my bike.
