Easiest to install when replacing rear tire – Looks great. WAIT until you are replacing rear tire before you install otherwise it’s a little bit of a pain

High quality plate holder. – All I’m going to say is the install was easy for me because I was changing my rear fender after being rear-ended by a Red Corvette. It may be a challenge if you’re just switching out your old setup. But at the end of the day it was well worth it. I love the clean appearance of the curved plate holder. Was it worth the money? Well you get what you pay for. Rather purchase a Kuryakyn than some knockoff.

Great After You Use Your Dremel and Trip to the Hardward Store – I was excited to get this on my Road Glide Special and now I am just annoyed and feel like a sucker. First off, the screws are too short, and they are silver, which doesn’t work with a black frame and a blacked out bike. So if you buy this, get (4) 1/4-20 screws 5/8″ long ahead of time, then you can paint them black to match the rest of the frame. OK no big deal, I got the screws and went to install the plate. After opening up the license plate holes a few times and fighting and wrestling with the thing to get all the screws in without stripping them, I decided to check the alignment of the frame and backing.

Sturdy and looks great on a 2020 FLHT – One should only expect great products from Kuryakyn. This curved license plate mount is every inch as good as the H-D one. Installing the license plate itself does need a bit of finesse. Since the plate adds thickness, only tighten up when all of the screws are catching on the threads.

A bit pricey but quality is worth it! – Not difficult to install just a little hard to reach the bolts to remove the original plate holder. I would recommend raising the bike on a motorcycle jack to improve accessibility to the nuts inside the fender. Take the time to drill thru your plate holes for added clearance and the outside frame to allow some movement to align all four screws with the threaded backing plate. The drill I chose was slightly larger than the supplied holes. The drilling done to allow ease of assembly is not visible once installed. You will fight assembly for a while if you don’t do this. If you order the black color just know that the screws are not painted black. So you might want to install and paint the screws afterwards or paint the screw heads before installation. Nice improvement to appearance as the curved frame follows the curve of the fender nicely. Quality upgrade smooths the appearance of the rear end of the bike. Spend the money for the added quality as there are a lot of reports that the cheaper ones break due to vibration.
