Helmet Locks – I have been looking for a way to secure my helmet on my 2012 Yamaha Stratoliner. The provided locking system with the Yamaha is tedious. You have to remove the drivers seat and then loop a cable through your helmet clasp, then reconnect the cable and replace the seat. Way too complicated. The Kuryakyn ones look great and are easy to install and use. I put mine on my sissy bar, one on each side for two helmets. I couldn’t be happier with their fit and finish, or their functionality.

Harley Davidson but cheaper! – Exactly the same as the “Harley Davidson” universal helmet lock but without the HD emblem and the HD cost!

Works – Easy to install and it works, but parts of it rusted in two months, bike kept covered and under patio because of moist environment

Disappointing and Defective – As others have noted, there are a few issues with this lock. It’s a PIA to have to use both hands to lock your helmet, one to secure the latch and the other to turn the key. If you have experience with a lock that just clicks into place you’re going to be pretty annoyed with the way this lock works.

Looks good, works fine. – Looks good, works fine. Would be better if the helmet ring latch was spring loaded to close, but it’s a minor inconvenience. This is the second one I’ve purchased so locking two lids is now easy. I replaced the use-once machine screws with torx stainless steel screws.

Great lock for Harley – This is nice for a bike without a helmet lock. I replaced the fasteners with standard allen screws in case I want to move it to another location or simply just adjust where it is on my crash bars. Sure if someone wants it bad enough, they can remove the screws. However if I used the security screws, they would only need to remove my crash bars, then I would be out a helmet and crash bars.

Dont use the one way screws/tamper proof screws – Not a bad product for the price, hard to find a place to attach it that isnt near a hot engine or muffler.
