Perfect kit for my VTX 1800N – Like others, I found that the cotter pins supplied wouldn’t work with the factory Honda rear peg pins that have to be reused. However, that was the only issue. These adapters are the perfect part to make the mini floor boards fit my VTX1800N. My application required the use of the supplied bushings to make the pins fit the bore in the adapters. I also had to use a single spring washer per board to help them stay in the up position. Took me less than an hour to install both sides, including setup and cleanup. Couldn’t be happier with the result!

Nice but…… – Not sure who is at fault but, was described as fit for 2004 Honda vtx. If you don’t have a way to machine spacers not only for the pin hole or drill out stock mount for pegs, you also have to make spacer to center on mount also. Oh by the way don’t waist your time buying male mount adapter does not fit the pegs, I know shipping the adapters back now. The pegs themselves are very comfortable and adjustable to fit your riding style once you get them installed. That is the reason for my 3 star review not the pegs themselves.

Quality part, fits well, looks great – I bought this item as part of a larger “kit” for my 2008 Honda Shadow Aero that included the Kuryakyn 4393 Premium Mini Board, the 8818 Splined Adapter Mount, and the 8837 2″ Offsets. These are high-quality items, and everything went together smoothly and looks great. The mini boards and extenders did a nice job of lowering the footbase about 1 inch for my passenger and bringing it forward about 2 inches. Longer passenger boards would have interfered with my ability to back up effectively, but these turned out just right.
