Great On My Adventure Motorcycle – I wired this USB charger into the accessory circuit on my BMW G310GS (in the beak, one of the two wired connectors on the back of the instrument cluster display), so the USB charger is only active when the ignition is on and the quiescent current draw won’t run down the battery when the bike is parked. It draws so little power that it would probably be safe to splice it in parallel with the always-on headlight or tail light.

Works for me – I purchased this to install on my Yamaha Bolt R-Spec motorcycle. It uses a flexible pad, some double-stick tape, and a pair of zip ties to hold it to my handlebars. The mounting seems much sturdier than you might assume. I like the weather cover, and the lack of a LED that might drain a battery. The power cord is not generous and was barely long enough to run under the tank back to an SAE connector that I also use for a battery tender. If I had one complaint, it’s that the cord is a bit short for handlebar mounting on a motorcycle – it will not reach back under the seat to reach close to the battery on most motorcycles. Other than this, it appears sturdy and simple, which is what I was seeking.
