Great USB connection replacement for mini 12v connection – Part came as requested and it took me 10min to install. Very simple and my device power up no problems. So glad I got this in place of the 12V mini connection.

Barely works – Very cheap. Doesn’t have enough power to efficiently charge an iPhone 12 Pro Max. It charges it, but very slowly. It doesn’t matter if port 1 or 2 is used. Most usb cables don’t stay put either. There is a rubber water seal type of lip around the opening that doesn’t allow some usb cables to fully seat in port. As a motorcycle accessory, it should hold cables snug but it does not. Save your money and buy something else.

Suuuuper slow charging – Installed this on my r nineT (Urban GS). It’s bigger than the powerlet that comes with the bike, but it’s fine in that location and doesn’t stick out in a bad way. Overall quality is good. But it barely keeps up with battery drain on the phone I have mounted to the handlebars using either USB port. Had the same phone with a different charger rig on my Triumph, and it would charge from dead to 100% on a 1-2 hour ride. Listing doesn’t include amp rating, this must be why. It’s loooow.
