Handy helper – As a senior there was no way I had the strength to replace the spring on our recliner. This was just the tool to pull the spring into place.

Off Label Use (BowlingTool). – I use this to extract switch grip inserts that get stuck in my bowling ball from time to time. This is at least a third of the price of those specially made for bowling. It’s made of steel so I cannot imagine it ever breaking. The prices of bowling ball tools are outrageous. I’m glad I found this workaround.

Works as it should, and reasonable price – I used this to install some large replacement springs on an attic ladder. Without this tool, it would have been nearly impossible to stretch the spring out and hook it in place. I’ll be using it whenever I have to deal with strong springs, including springs on drum brakes in the future.
