The gromet goes into the large hole that the bolt head normally goes through – It needs a set screw in the main body so that the holder screw dosent have to be tight tight so that the cup can swing and easily removed from the body by pulling the gromet aside and unclipping the cup

The mount is to large. – The mount was too thick to fit between the clutch cable and handlebar. I used my existing mount with the new cup holder.

Mounts are very strong and cups look great – I’m very impressed with how strong the mounts are and that the shims that touch my handlebars are plastic, flexible, so that it won’t scratch my handlebars and you can mount it on a not perfectly round part of the handlebar. I’ve been using 2 of them on my 1995 Suzuki Intruder 1400 a month now and they’re awesome
