Amazing, until phone went flying off – I love this thing, it’s easy to slide phone in and it’s sturdy. But as I found out, it’s still possible that the phone will fall off. I was riding 30mph with my e-bike the other day and hit a decent size pothole. Not big enough to make me fall, but certainly shook the bike. The phone went flying off. Now here’s the crazy part: I CAUGHT IT IN THE AIR!! I pulled over right away and started laughing like a maniac because of how insane that catch was. Do you realize how impossible this is? 😀 I still can’t believe it

This is the mount you want – If you have a large phone – this is the one. I recommend removing one of the springs that creates tension if you have a larger phone. There are 5 screws on the back; one of them is hidden under the center mount area, under a rubber plug. Take the back off and you can remove one spring, so the tension is lower. You might also want to put some vasoline or heavy grease on the other spring to keep it from rattling. I’ve purchased a lot of different phone mounts and this is the best one (note I am just talking about the phone clamp… not the mechanism to attach to your dash. I always make my own dash mount with a 16mm ball).

Amazing, until phone went flying off – I love this thing, it’s easy to slide phone in and it’s sturdy. But as I found out, it’s still possible that the phone will fall off. I was riding 30mph with my e-bike the other day and hit a decent size pothole. Not big enough to make me fall, but certainly shook the bike. The phone went flying off. Now here’s the crazy part: I CAUGHT IT IN THE AIR!! I pulled over right away and started laughing like a maniac because of how insane that catch was.
