Excellent and Sturdy – I got this for my hubby on our anniversary. He loved it. He immediately installed it in our closet and it gets used everyday. We have had it for over a month and it’s been very sturdy and useful. It doesn’t wobble or anything. It is very much worth the value.

Best helmet rack we have found – My fiance’ loved this accessory, just what he wanted. Sturdy enough to hang our leather jackets and vests from it on a hanger along with our helmets. Have it in his motorcycle trailer. It keeps everything off the floor and safe when we pull the trailer with the bike it. He especially liked that it didn’t come with already punched holes for hanging so he could find the studs in the walls and put holes in it exactly where he wanted. Some people complained about that issue but was a winner for him. May buy another one to hang other stuff one. So glad I found this for him.

People wake up if every contractor built every garage with studs 16 inches apart that would be a great idea, but the fact is tha – This is a solid product and one of very few offered in its class at this price. I see many people here being critical of the “no holes” pre-drilled in the product.. I’m guessing that the product comes without holes because many older garages and many houses do not have studs in the walls at 16 in dead center. The fact is that this product is made to hold heavy objects (5 pounds or more). Most likely,the manufacturer realized that many people may have to drill to support the product differently depending if its a house, barn, trailer etc. You will have to buy or borrow a stud finder and pre-drill the holes in the product so that you can properly mount it to studs on / in a wall. I agree with the comment on the sloppy welds. Looks like an 8th grader just learned something in shop. Still it works and is reasonably priced.

Could be much better – Products arrived in good shape and assembled well. Aluminum welds were clean and properly done. My only negative comments about this product is that they skimped on welding all the way around the brackets. I understand they will still hold when weight is applied down on them, but this will cause them to easily break if force is applied by accident in the wrong direction. Which will definitely happen when helmets are put on and taken off multiple times. Welding two more sides of each bracket would have solved that problem completely. Also no pre-drilled holes for mounting… Overall kind of disappointed

My only negative comments about this product is that they skimped on welding all the way around the brackets. I understand they will still hold when weight is applied down on them, but this will cause them to easily break if force is applied by accident in the wrong direction. Which will definitely happen when helmets are put on and taken off multiple times. Welding two more sides of each bracket would have solved that problem completely.
