Installed on Harley Nightrod Special 2010 – Ok, so I love these bags, they don’t look bulky and old man. They have a very nice modern appeal and don’t stick out a look as if I am constantly carrying a suitcase on each side of my bike. The straps took some playing with to get adjusted and secured. I did use some zip ties for some of the excess as it would be very dangerous should it come loose and get into the spokes or drive. The only thing I do not like is the instructions, which are extremely lacking. I know they are meant to be universal but OMG, all they show is some images with very poor resolution of different ways to install… It’s up to you to figure it out.

Very well thought out – The bag is sturdy and well made. I have it mounted on my Africa Twin and my daughter uses it as a backrest. It holds shape even when empty due to the wires inside. You can still unzip and fold flat if you want. I use it for a helmet holder, jackets, ice chest, you name it it fits.

Great day trip bags. – Attached these to a Triumph Street Twin and they fit perfectly. Slightly angled for a sportbike but they look great on my bike. They’re not big by any means so don’t expect them to handle a bunch of gear for a multi week long trip unless you’re a light packer. All stitching is solid with minimal frays. Once secured the bags have minimal play in the straps and there are no hard points of contact that might strip paint away. Filtering was no issue with the bags installed.

Nice bags, mounting buckle opening not big enough, get reusable zip ties for four mounting points – They’re nice bags, but the buckles for the four mounting points do not have a large enough opening to easily get the straps through. I’m not going to spend 5 minutes or more per buckle every time I take the bags off and later put them on. Do yourself a favor and use reusable zip ties to secure their loops to your frame. Seat straps are way too long for my bike. But I could foresee a time on a long trip where I might put these bags on top of some other pannier bags. So I didn’t cut them short, I zip tied the excess. The straps on the front and rear of the bags need to be somewhat taught for the dry bag fold function to stay in place. I don’t know about the heat resistance, I use pannier racks

Finally found bags to fit my bike! – First off, the quality of these bags is incredible. Very heavy duty, durable and rubberized for waterproofness. I never have to worry about anything in these bags getting wet.
