Not sturdy enough for gravel biking – Since Rokform doesn’t make a case for the Pixel phones, I’ve been using the universal adapters for a few years. I get a new one when I upgrade phones. Generally pleased with them, and already ordered a replacement for this broken one. However, this one broke off while mounted to my bike mount while on a gravel ride. I will not be trusting this mount on my gravel bike or mountain bike anymore, apparently not sturdy enough for more than road riding.

Needs some work – Cracked after 2 months of use which sucks but other then that it’s holds onto my rockform mount great I think they need to strengthen the plastic on this tbh and the rubber piece wears away kinda fast it seems but the magnet is extremely strong

Good but I made it better – First the better part. You can add the pop out magnet from a Rokform case to this and have 2 magnets. I have an Iphone 13 that I wanted to use the twist lock part and had the magnet from that part as a spare. I now have this adapter with the additional magnet and super glue on a rugged case on my work phone. I love the look on peoples face when I turn on the camera and then slap phone on equipment and run it out over pits or up in the air so I can get a picture of something that is hard to see otherwise. The phone is not dropping! I did have to super glue it due to the texture of the case. I think it should come with the option of having the magnet there as well just like the cases do.

Won’t stick to some cases – I bought a Spigen rugged case specifically for this application but couldn’t get it to adhere. I tried it on my Google case and it seems sturdy. Now I’m not sure if moving the adapter several times will be an issue. Also the Google case doesn’t hold the phone as well as the Spigen. I used the alcohol wipe on the Spigen and waited for it to dry. I don’t think it’s me. The Google case is thermoplastic polyurethane and i think the other case is polycarbonate.

I haven’t had any trouble with this mount sticking to my Rockform A/C vent mount. I don’t recall my phone ever slipping off the vent with this mount. This is one of the few magnetic mounts that has not dropped my phone.

Rain or shine sleet and snow, hot and cold. It doesn’t matter. I’ve put 30,000 miles on these, and they have never failed.
