Funny Story – Not long ago my wife and I went to a event at the Encore here in Las Vegas. Well, we had our truck parked. The valley came back and said that is fifteen years he has never seen anything like this. He kept pushing the button and the truck would not start. He finally looked at the cover and saw it said turn, then the truck started! Priceless!

Heightening washer wasnt an option – The product itself is well made. Durable, hefty weight for its size, smooth bearings, and adhesion tape is strong. I’m 100% confident it would hold well. My biggest issue is the description describes it as a modular design with the option to attach or detach the riser washer. It does not come with a riser washer. In fact the entire housing is constructed of a single piece of metal so theres no detaching anything. If youre looking for a flush look instead of the mushroom raised look this particular one doesnt fit that need.

Cool but could be better – This thing is cool looking, but it does have tend to get stuck in the open position. Not a huge problem but it can be a little annoying when you want to close it quick before getting out of your car.

Took a gamble….. – Took a gamble on this and I find it is better quality that I expected. All metal construction, not cheap plastic. It has a little weight to it. With that being said, I took a gamble as I dont have a push button start. Sadly my key fob is slightly too wide so the key can’t insert far enough. I tested before installing as I was surprised how thick the is. Im also curious based on the weight and the thickness of the adhesive ring, how long will it hold. This is exactly what I wanted though, so if I had a push start then perfect. I took a star off because the pictures show a removable raising washer, however this is nothing that can be removed without breaking it. Removing this supposed washer would have solved my problem.

don’t expect instructions because their is none – i believe to take off your original ring you have to pop it out with a phillips tip(flathead).
