Defective adhesive on mounting piece. – Installed fine on my new helmet — After a day of letting the adhesive cure, I took it out riding. It seems like the adhesive pad is already starting to delaminate from the plastic part of the mounting piece that it comes attached to, which is worrisome (sticking to the helmet fine)… I’ll be keeping an eye on this, perhaps it will turn out to be a non-issue, but it’s likely I got a defective adhesive mount piece.

quality of audio is very good, pairs with iPhone and allows for voice activated … – Purchased to connect with three other riders on a weeklong trip. Well written instructions, quality of audio is very good, pairs with iPhone and allows for voice activated dialing. Battery life is good enough to allow for a long day riding without loss of connection. Some very minor “clicking” over the group connection, but not enough to be an issue. One minor issue is mounting (3M tape) to the side of my Shoei Hornet X2 helmet. The profile of the helmet is very rounded where the base of the Sena needs to adhere. Towards the end of the week and with dust and pressure from on/off activity the 3M tape had almost completed peeled away from the the helmet. I had to build up a better base of tape and reapply.

SENA 20S Mount Mod – I bought this mount so that I could add my Sena 20S to a second helmet. The product was a as advertised but did require some modification for my communicator. After I installed the adhesive mount, my comm unit would not latch in the locked position. After some fiddling, I realized that the top clip of the mount was .030 in too long not allowing the comm unit to latch. A little bit of filing fixed the issue and I was back in business.

Great Sena Relocation Package – I love my Sena. But when you install it into your helmet, you have to put some of the elements in as stickers that you can’t remove and reinstall elsewhere. Now that I’ve upgraded to a new helmet, I needed to move my Sena over. This little kit has all the essential materials I needed to make that move.
