Throttle works great! – The throttle works great! You can’t tighten the clamps down all the way or you will have a sticking throttle…most are tightened to 5nm….do that and it will work just fine. Also had to deburr some areas to prevent cable fray.

Throttle works great! – The throttle works great! You can’t tighten the clamps down all the way or you will have a sticking throttle…most are tightened to 5nm….do that and it will work just fine. Also had to deburr some areas to prevent cable fray.

4.5 Stars, really – The quality here is very good, materials and workmanship. Everything fits together cleanly, no blemishes in appearance, inside and out (looks good even where you can’t see it). My only complaint is the cable housing (which is gorgeous AND tough with real steel braid outer sleeve) was maybe 6 inches too short for my application (motorized bike, not stretched). Other than that, install was easy peasy, and operation is smooth and responsive.

It’s definitely quick – It’s a good quick turn/quick throttle, easy to install, de burr any sharp edges or smooth the edges, metal to metal contact use lubricant or grease, the two piece throttle tube is different.. not entirely sure if I like that but make sure to use lock tight, the see through window is cool make sure to not over tighten it because it may add friction to throttle cable and feel like it’s sticking so use lock tight on that bolt as well, fit for 7/8 inch(22mm) handle bars, make sure to use a plastic donut between the throttle tube housing and grip to prevent throttle sticking.

Fits with Surron cable application – Overall, this is an excellent product. People having problems with it sticking or binding haven’t installed it correctly. However, the M4 screw used to fasten the window/bearing is too short and doesn’t grab enough thread. I used a longer M4 stainless screw to fix.

Sticky throttle central! Raw machining! – I did not like the fact that nothing has been de-burred and all raw cut edges. Time with a small file, fine sandpaper and grease got everything working fairly smooth. Cable barrel had to be filed to not catch the internals of the throttle! With me being picky or blunt about the product, I’m still impressed with the product after making it proper. I’d buy again.

Handlebar needs to be bare steel or it will not fit – It’s typical Chinese Machining it says it fits over 7/8 inch bar that bar needs to be exactly 7/8 of an inch no paint no powder coat anything over that bar or it will not fit

Cheap but not horrible – Used this for a smaller ATV because my knee would hit the OEM thumb throttle. The cable was way longer than needed and it doesn’t twist smoothly. It’s not horrible but I decided to buy something better.
