There worth it. If you just want to hang helmets. – Overall I like them. They will work for me. They came fast and we’re wrapped decent enough, they weren’t all scratched and bent. They seem sturdy enough for a helmet and that’s about it. You could probably hang a “light” jacket below from a coat hanger. Any more weight than that and you’re probably risking it. The hardware was super chintzy but will work I just substituted it for my own. The holes in the mounting brackets are oddly placed. They work fine for mounting to a solid surface but to a 2*4 stud you may need to drill 1 hole in the mounting bracket. The metal is fairly thin and this would be easy for anyone handy. There a good in-expensive helmet holder and I will get a few more sets for sure. I also think they will work perfectly for displaying my 1/10 scale nitro cars. Slice fuel line the length and wrap the top circle for grip and cushion and presto rc car display.

More suited to be hung on drywall. – I have these in my garages for my various helmets. I think they would be better suited using them as a display piece in the house or if your garage is drywalled. My home garage is just studs and my cabin garage is OSB over studs. Both of these required me to drill a fourth hole into the mounting side so that I could use two screws, one above the other, to mount these directly to the studs. The mounting holes as they show up are in a triangle pattern with holes on the sides and one underneath. That is fine when using drywall anchors, but when screwing them into studs, you only get your choice of one screw unless you drill a top hole. I could have also mounted a 1×4 board across two studs and then mounted them but I chose the added hole. Past that, they are great.

Functional but shoddy paint – First off, I don’t know that most of us have 4 helmets to hang – so a two pack option would’ve been nice. Especially since these were just bundled in some bubble wrap and taped up.

Exactly what we needed. – We attached these to a post in the garage next to our Honda 3-wheeler. They are up out of the way and very sturdy. Before ordering these, we found a mouse nest in one of the helmets, so we knew we needed to mount them right side up.

Excellent helmet holders! – I got these racks to install in our garage. We have several bike helmets for us and our kids plus my husband has a motorcycle helmet, so we were in dire need of a storage solution. While they aren’t necessarily heavy-duty, they are certainly strong enough to hold helmets and more. They have a painted black finish which is smooth and did not chip during installation. The set comes with hardware for install as well (e.g., nice anchor and screws.) My husband likes that he can also hang his motorcycle jacket on a hanger and hang it from the bottom of the rack under his helmet. They are just a really great minimalist solution for the pile of helmets we once had in our garage!

Helmet holders are great! – The anchors provided where a little small but the hangers look great and are very sturdy.
