Good for moto with caveat. – It seems to read a little low, but that may be due to where I am pulling the voltage. It flashes a little too long when the battery says during a start.
Rated 4 out of 5

High visibility voltage indicator – I installed this on my motorcycle and it is very easy to read. However, it is not waterproof and the mounting tape doesn’t stick at all.

easy to read – Easy to read. Not sure of the accuracy of gauge. The wires to the unit are very small diameter so there probably is some resistance skewing the reading. Key on and bike off the gauge reads a 1/2 volt low. Once running it seems to work fine. I primarily am concerned with making sure my stator is putting out electricity and it shows that it is. At cruising speed the gauge shows 14 volts which is normal and coming to a stop 13.5 volts, for the money I am happy with it.

Must-have accessory – A voltmeter is a really useful accessory – you can monitor your charging system and battery health constantly. That would have saved me from the only time I’ve stood by the side of the road on all my motorcycle trips; I’d have known the battery wasn’t getting charged long before I ended up stranded in the middle of nowhere. I’ve added these to two motorcycles now.

Used this for a 1994 6.5 turbo diesel – Volt gauge on the old truck does not read accurate anymore, this does the job very well. Didn’t stick it to anything, ran wire behind the bezel and its just sitting next to the trip odometer reset. Hooked the hot to the auxiliary power box under the dash on a switched open prong, grounded to the dash support. Its a little slow to react, like after the glow plug cycle but it works

Nice display, but slow reaction to voltage change. – Overall decent product for the price only issue I have, really really well 2 issues, And how slow it react to change in voltage, And how flimsy the wires are. I would be happier if it reacted to voltage fluctuation immediately instead of taking a few sec for it to change. The display is bright and I really like the green as well. Overall decent product with just a couple quirks.

Easy to use – Like the size, simplicity and green display. I use it in a boat battery compartment to monitor the accessory battery. I have a switch in the positive lead so display is only on when I want to check the battery. I attached the display to the side of the battery compartment with a small 3M command strip tape.
