Great Half Helmet. – I have a modular helmet with an integrated coms device I wear normally. But with the extreme heat of late it is way too hot ( sweat dripping into my eyes), so I wanted a good half helmet.

Could easily be a 4 star if only a little better quality control – I have several helmets from many different manufactures but this is my first half helmet. Traditionally I go for a modular and my daily use is a HJC IS-MAX II. I found that for my around town rides this was becoming to cumbersome and hot so I researched lighter half helmets and ended up here with the Vega as a good balance of features and cost.

Mostly good – Fits good and stays put at 80+ with no windshield but the visor is a bit of a joke. I wear glasses on all my rides because my eyes will water really bad if I don’t. I thought this might be an option to go without glasses but the wind shoots right up under the visor and I’m instantly crying like a baby. Other than that, I really like it. I just leave the visor up and use glasses still but I like how it tightens like a hard hat in the back.

Purchased for a Sena Cavalry helmet – Im very pleased with these, though I did have to trim the inserts slightly to get them to go in all the way. They have more padding than the original ear pads and fit tighter against my ears, keeping the wind and noise from blasting them. I dont wear them for blue tooth or anything so cant speak about how they would work in that capacity. But for keeping the noise out and keeping your ears warm, Id say they work really well, and worth the price.
