Awesome vintage look – Perfect fit on my bars. Not huge but perfect for registration/insurance papers and phone back up battery pack, etc. Super quality leather, made my garage smell great for days.

Not a bad bag, just not great – This bag is decent, just okay. It looked GREAT at first, hanging under the headlight on my Harley Forty-Eight. Unfortunately, it has no rigid shaping to it, so it doesn’t retain its shape once it’s been hanging in place for a few days. The “vintage,” broken-in look I wanted quickly gave way to a battered, lumpy look that wasn’t so good. Despite the item’s headline, it DOES NOT have quick release clasps, but rather 2 buckles (not waterproof, they rusted almost immediately), and no place to put any kind of padlock or luggage lock, so it’s not super secure. But I knew all this BEFORE ordering it.

Glad I read the reviews – Bag is just big enough to hold my all-in-one wallet/checkbook/purse so I’ve got all the emergency stuff I need — major credit cards and a cell phone. When I read the reviews on this little bag one of them mentioned combating the smashed flat shipping by dampening the leather and stuffing the bag. I figured, hey, it’s going to get wet if I get caught in the rain anyway, why not? Did that, stuffed it with bubble wrap, Dried with all the shipping folds gone. It’s not saddle leather quality, but it states that it’s goat, and it’s got a bit of an odd smell, but rinsing it to reshape the leather helped that, as well. Great little fork bag for the price.

Some people can’t be pleased. – Some people can’t be pleased. First, what do you expect for $27? Well, I can tell you I was completely pleased with the fork bag. It may not be the best leather or product, but given a little attention and care, it is great and a smashing deal. For those who complain about size measurements and so on. Gently bath the satchel in some water, stuff the insides with something to help form it and set it out in the sun for an hour, then put mink oil on it to protect it and let it dry again and you’ll have a top notch bag.

Soft leather. Arrived flat in a plastic bag. – The picture looks stiff like typical bags, but it isn’t stiff, it is soft. It arrived flat and wrinkled. I filled it with a foam block to hold a decent shape. That’s fine with me. It does what I need: hold insurance cards and registration on my 2018 Fat Bob handlebar riser. I like the different look, but it’s not the usual motorcycle bag that holds its own shape.

Great for the price – After reading some negative reviews, I was a little skeptical. This is real leather and it looks great. I’m using it to house some electronics, so I cut some access holes in the back and sides. I would not have considered that with a more expensive bag. The leather is pretty thin, but seems strong enough. The stitching is not beautiful, but perfectly adequate. For the money, this would be really tough to beat. I put this on the forks of a Ural motorcycle toward the top where the headlight ears were, so there was an unusually wide diameter to accommodate. The provided fork straps didn’t quite reach, but I just used some zip ties which are minimally visible. Overall I am delighted with my purchase.

On my Indian Scout Bobber Twenty – Quality leather. Matches nicely with my leather seat on my Indian Scout Bobber Twenty. Easy to strap on the mini apes. Bonus, it acts bit like a windscreen when you mount it high and fill it with items.
