Lifted riding mower well – Used this to lift up the back end of a Craftsman Pro (24 HP engine, so its big) when putting on tire chains for the snowblower kit.

Compact and strong – Love the small compact size but it is steady and works well.

Works well – Overall this works well for a Honda Shadow VT750C. Though I do wish it had a few more features, for the price it works as intended. Size, its width is slightly wider than the frame, so there’s not much room for error or sliding. It does not have any noticeable safety mechanism or a latch to prevent it from failing. Other than that, it’s not ridiculously heavy so it can be moved with ease.

For Car Fuel Tank Drop – I used it to drop a fuel tank in a passenger car and put it back after some work was done on the tank. I put this Scissors Lift Jack on a board w/4 wheels (covered w/non-slip cloth) to maneuver easier. The construction was light and easy to move around. I was able to shift the tank pretty easy back and forth as needed. At the same time the Lift was quite sturdy and kept the desired position very well due to manual regulation of the height. I really appreciate the manufacture who made this beautiful and so versatile device.

Easy to use motorcycle jack. – This lift works very well. I use it for storage of my motorcycle. It won’t drop over time like a hydraulic one.

Needs to be fine tuned once you get it – Great jack now. The jack screw was bent when I received it. I noticed it when trying to raise it up. I had to disassemble the jacking mechanism and straighten the screw. Then it was working smoothly.

So far so good – It works wonderfully. I am using it for winter storage my bike.

Just needs to be tweeked. – Fine quality components, assembly a little lacking. Received it and greased all the pivot points, removed the bolts (3/4 sae seemed to fit just fine ) and loctite the threads , greased ball bearings for the hight control screw, tighten the collar for the bearing cups (3mm allen head) and it seems like it will last a good long time. I’m a motorcycle mechanic (Harley Davidson mostly ) and we have high end wide jacks similar to these. I wanted one for home and didn’t want to shell out $400 for one. So I took a chance on this one and I’m satisfied with it after a few adjustments. If you’re not smart enough to work on a jack, you probably shouldn’t work on your bike.
